Collaborative robots (cobots)
An arm that works next to your people and is programmed by leading it by hand.
Ideal for: Machine tending, case palletizing, screwdriving and inspection at small stations.

- Typical payload
- 3–30 kg
- Axes
- 6
- Programmed by guiding it
- By hand
- Stops on collision
- Contact
What sets it apart
Why choose this robot
A cobot is a 6-axis arm with sensors that detect contact and limit force, so it can share space with an operator if the risk assessment allows it. It is slower and carries less than an industrial robot, but it installs quickly, takes little space and can be reprogrammed without a specialist for every product change.
Near people
Detects contact and limits force; it can work without a cage if the risk assessment allows it.
Easy to program
Points are taught by leading it by hand or from a tablet.
Small footprint
Mounts on a table or cart and moves to another station in an afternoon.
Changes task
Ideal for small batches and frequent product changes.
What it is used for
Typical applications
Solutions with this robot
- Loading and unloading lathes and machining centers
- End-of-line case palletizing
- Screwdriving, assembly and inspection
- Polishing and sanding small parts
Clear expectations
What it can and cannot do
It can
- Load and unload a lathe while the operator does something else.
- Palletize cases at the end of a packaging line.
- Be reprogrammed for another product without calling a specialist.
It cannot
- Match the speed or payload of an industrial robot.
- Work without guarding if the tool or the part is dangerous.
- Weld or paint in series as fast as an industrial cell.

Examples we integrate

Photos from manufacturers we work with. Model, configuration and availability are defined in each project. Payload, reach and safety mode are chosen per application; working without guarding always depends on the cell's risk assessment.
