Mobile robots: AGV and AMR
Driverless vehicles that move pallets, carts and boxes around the plant all shift.
Ideal for: Supplying lines, removing finished goods and connecting the warehouse with production.

What sets it apart
Why choose this robot
An AGV follows fixed routes (tape, magnets or reflectors); an AMR builds its own map with lasers and cameras, chooses the route and avoids obstacles. Both integrate with the plant's system to know what to carry and where. There are versions that slide under a cart and lift it, driverless forklifts and bases to mount a robot arm on top.
Driverless
Makes the same trips every day without depending on a forklift driver.
Navigation
The AGV follows a marked route; the AMR builds a map and avoids obstacles.
Safe among people
Laser scanners that slow or reroute the vehicle when someone crosses.
Integrates
Receives orders from the line, the PLC or the management system.
What it is used for
Typical applications
Solutions with this robot
- Bringing raw material from the warehouse to the line
- Removing finished pallets from the end of the line
- Moving carts and shelves between stations
- Supplying robotic cells without intervention

What it can and cannot do
It can
- Bring raw material to the line as it is needed.
- Remove pallets from the end of the line and take them to the warehouse.
- Charge its battery on its own between trips.
It cannot
- Drive on broken floors, uneven ground or ramps out of spec.
- Work well in blocked aisles or with a constantly changing layout without reconfiguration.
- Replace a conveyor when the flow is continuous and very high.

Examples we integrate

Photos from manufacturers we work with. Model, configuration and availability are defined in each project. The vehicle type, load and navigation are defined with a walk-through of the plant: floors, aisles, doors, ramps and foot traffic.
